A few pretty awesome albums in ‘81, including albums by Nico, Killing Joke, The Cure, The Ramones, and outstanding debuts by Husker Du, New Order and The Replacements. But this decision was easy. From the Lion’s Mouth is one of my favorite albums of all time, and as I’ve written before, deserves way more respect and recognition than it receives (which is virtually none).
Explodingnow is basically a bloggy online zine (isn't that what most of the internet is these days?). Mostly it's about music, sports and culture. You will love it, I promise.
