I think the boys (Ramesh, Jason, Mitch, Matt, Jared) in the Austin based, neo-Spoon band Voxtrot might have stumbled upon some of my personal memoirs which vividly and gruesomely depicted each of their murders if they didn’t release a full-length LP within the next 90 days.

I think this because they are finally releasing their full-length LP.

Diabolic dudes and dudettes such as myself have all downloaded the leak already (note to music piracy white knights: this album is getting pressed on vinyl so I actually get to buy it).

Anyway, the music continues the trend towards piano-led indie balladry seen on the band’s most recent EP, Your Biggest Fan. Add that to some anthemic moments that recall the unrivaled brilliance of the Mothers, Sisters, Daughters & Wives EP and this record definitely lives up to expectations.
