I'm pretty sure Tokyo Police Club - Lesson in Crime came out early 2006; I've had that shit since forever ago. Nice list, though, downloading a couple albums I've never heard of. So thanks!

Some sound selections you've got there- I would suggest checking out The Twilight Sad's album, which I have played to death since I got it a few weeks ago...scottish post-rock/MBV meets Arab Strap sorta stuff.

Also - is there anyway I can read your fine blog and make the text bigger?

Also, regarding everything NFL Network. Yeah, they're douches. So are most cable companies though.

Regardless, I have Dish Network right now, which I hate, but one positive aspect of it is that they somehow managed to get the NFL Network, and, well, during football season the NFL Network can't by touched by any other channel as far as football coverage goes. Their studio shows have the best content and most intelligent analysts, it's not just people making outlandish statements for the sake of making outlandish statements (cough ESPN cough). They also manage to get a lot more player appearances and interviews, and more press conferences and just more general in depth coverage of the world of pro football. For any football obsessed person, it is great. I'm sure I would like it more if I was a bigger NFL fan, but I'd rather watch college football 9 times out of 10. But yeah. NFL Network is solid. You'll be thanking them for deciding to create the NFL Network if you're ever able to watch it. Trust me.

So I'm a little drunk and bored and I read through a few of your old posts (weird I know). A few truths are self evident after this:

1. Danielson's "Ships" album was a glaring omission from your top 25 of 2006. That is almost enough to make this site lose all credibility in my mind.
2. The Hurricane is a fantastic song.
3. I think it's hilarious that you originally though Michigan deserved to play in the BCS championship over Florida. Made your site lose more credibility.
4. It's even funnier that in a later post you didn't think that Florida would beat Ohio State. Made your site lose all credibility. Not to blow my own horn or anything, but I made so much money off that game b/c most people, at least in Montana, assumed Ohio State would win. I was surprised that people actually though Ohio State would even compete. There is college football and then there is the SEC of last year, which was just in it's on stratosphere. I don't know why I'm writing this now, because we see a great amount of fluxuation on a year to year basis in the world of college football and this is already moot. I think they should have turned all of the SEC teams from last year into pro teams, signed the players to lifetime contracts, and then just played each other at least once a year. It would have instantly become the most entertaining football league in the world. Despite all that, though, JeMarcus Russle will be a huge NFL flop. I'm talking Ryan Leaf-esque.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure I didn't mean anything I said involving the word credibility.
